Content Marketing Manager

The Role

We're looking for a Content Marketing Manager to facilitate the creation and management of content across all of our brands, with particular focus on our affiliate site, The gambling industry presents unique content challenges and opportunities, requiring us to work creatively within specific regulations in our target markets. You’ll work closely with our SEO manager and directly lead our design team, digital PR executive and freelance copywriters. You will be our go-to resource for content and work with our head of operations to build and grow an internal content agency to work across all of our and our partners’ products.


  • Maintain the integrity of our brands through all communication channels, ensuring we stay true to our original tone(s) of voice
  • Create content strategies for each of our products and track KPIs for content projects
  • Manage the foundation and growth of an internal content agency to service all products within the business and those of our key partners
  • Lead the strategy and production of content for new affiliate products in growing markets
  • Optimise all uploaded content in line with SEO best practices
  • Work with our digital PR executive to create and outreach content to publishers and influencers
  • Ensure content compliance with UKGC and data protection regulations
  • Work with our commercial and acquisitions team to ensure all partner offers are up-to-date and correct
  • Brief, proof-read, edit and offer feedback to freelance copywriters
  • Work with our internal design and development teams to turn ideas into live campaigns; creating briefs, sharing visions, and ensuring the efficient delivery of projects
  • Lead reporting on content performance and communicate insights to team
  • Monitor competitor content output and report on new opportunities
Image Responsibilities

The Ideal Candidate

  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Understands how content marketing supports successful SEO strategies
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to identify the needs and desires of an audience and create content that fulfils them
  • Can spot interesting angles, stories and ways to make data and ideas come to life
  • Have at least three years of experience in a content-based marketing role
  • Can write short-form and long-form copy for different purposes
  • Track-record of analysing data and presenting research findings in creative, compelling ways
  • Ability to put forward and discuss new ideas and challenge old or outdated ones
  • Collaborative and able to contribute to creative discussions and processes
  • Organised with a high level of initiative to structure and deliver projects
